I'm very pleased to announce that PhotoCaddy is currently being featured by Apple as a "Staff Favorite", hot off the heels of being featured in the "What's Hot" section.

This is an immense privilege, and is a great inspiration to keep working hard and improving this app for all you current (and future) users.

WaterTracker released

WaterTracker for the iPhone has been approved and is now available in the stores. You can get the full details on our website, and jump straight in and have a look on the App Store.

Of course, the main feature is tracking your water intake. Many people don't drink enough water, and most experts agree that by tracking things or writing them down, you will take more notice of them. In other words, if you put WaterTracker on your iPhone, you'll probably increase your water consumption. But, that's not all - we've also packed in plenty of charts and stats, as well as a really cool reminder system. Using push notifications, WaterTracker will send you reminders at not just specific, but even random times of the day.

Random reminders are something I haven't come across before in the App Store, so hopefully you guys like this new feature. We'd love to hear what you think?

Get Randomly Healthy

Water is one of the essential ingredients in human life, yet for some reason we just don't drink enough of it. Have you ever heard that you should drink 8 glasses a day to maintain good health? Whether or not it's true remains unproven, but most people do agree that water is good for you. So, it's at this point I'd like to introduce our new app, WaterTracker for iPhone - a new way to track your intake on a day-to-day basis.

There's still a few bugs to be ironed out, but that doesn't mean you can't have a sneak peak! Obviously the key function of WaterTracker is to count up and track how much water you drink throughout the day. This couldn't be much easier as you can see from the home screen. Simply enter the amount you've drunk whenever you have a glass, or bulk-enter them a few times throughout the day.

But what fun would entering your water intake be without a few stats and figures? There's plenty of that to fill your needs, but so far we've found the quickest way to be the chart. It gives a good quick visual indicator of how you've been going towards meeting your goal.

The feature we're most excited about though was hinted at in the title. Not only does WaterTracker contain reminders so that you remember to drink your water, but it's very easy to set up random reminders. It would be far to easy to quickly dismiss the reminder that comes in at 9.00am every day - hey, drink some water. By the third day you'd turn it off and think "I'll get to it later". With a random reminder however, you never know what time they're going to arrive, and so you're bound to give them more attention. The end result being, better water consumption!

I'm pretty excited about this last feature, as I think it's something fairly new to the store, and certainly something I haven't seen before. With 150,000+ apps now in the store that's a pretty unusual thing! Of course there's some other bits and pieces still to be discussed, and we look forward to revealing those on launch day. Stay tuned, it's not far away.
